The Caron Texas adult Family Program is a powerful experience during treatment, because addiction damages the entire family.

The Family Education Program creates the opportunity for the entire family to embrace the healing process. All of Caron’s treatment programs offer a Family Program tailored to meet each family’s needs.

The Family Program is a profound opportunity to reverse the impact addiction has on the spouses, children, parents and siblings of a patient. Caron Texas' family therapists and counselors work with the patient’s treatment team to enrich and empower participation in the Family Program.

The program unfolds over several days, with some days focusing on family members and other days focusing on the patient. The program offers an interactive format designed to meet each family’s needs. This intensive experience is uplifting, life-changing, and transformational for many people. As one participant stated, “I’ve learned that pain in life is inevitable, but a lot of the suffering is optional.”
