Conditions Treated

The Caron Texas alcohol treatment and drug rehab facility provides treatment for adult men who have substance abuse and addiction issues arising from the use of alcohol, marijuana, heroin and other opiates, cocaine and crack and other addictive substances such as meth and prescription drugs and benzos. In addition to primary care for substance abuse and addiction, we address conditions that are commonly prevalent in men such as anger and anger management, control issues, coping and communication skills, anxiety and trauma and post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

As with all Caron Texas patients, no matter the gender or age, our principal focus is first on treating the chemical dependency and secondarily dealing with other conditions that might be present for the patient. Accordingly, adult male patients of Caron will receive a personalized treatment plan specific to his needs. Each patient first enters into a medical detoxification phase of treatment in order to address his primary chemical dependency when appropriate. While in detox, the patient will also participate in individual counseling and group counseling sessions. The behavioral counseling will help the young male patients to learn about addiction, begin to address other conditions such as anger, control issues or trauma or co-occurring conditions such as bi-polar or depression.

During his substance abuse treatment at Caron Texas, in addition to learning about addiction and relapse prevention, each man and his family will become more aware of the need for a plan for recovery and life after treatment has ended. Caron Texas will assist with the creation of that plan.
