Adult Men

Caron Texas provides residential substance abuse and addiction treatment programs to adult men at its campus near Dallas, Texas.

Following a period of medical detoxification when necessary, adult male patients will participate in individual and group counseling sessions and family counseling. In addition to possibly dealing with co-occurring conditions such as depression and bi-polar, the in-patient male program at Caron Texas also helps adult men to address male-specific issues.

The gender specific treatment program for men at Caron Texas focuses on conditions such as:

• Skill building to prevent compartmentalizing feelings
• Learning how to ask for help
• Control issues
• Gaining insight into compulsive behaviors
• Looking at resentments
• Anger
• Men’s nutrition

All of the programs at Caron Texas are staffed by clinical professionals dedicated to top quality and compassionate addiction care. Each adult male in treatment works with a treatment team that includes medical staff, individual and group counselors, and staff well versed in social work, spiritual guidance, nutrition and exercise.

The adult male programs at Caron Texas follow the treatment approach of initially dealing with the primary chemical dependency. It is our experience that men who also deal with male-specific issues in a gender-separate environment will have greater success in recovery.
