Inpatient Primary Care

At Caron Texas, our alcohol treatment and drug rehab programs are customized for our patients' needs, including distinct and separate programs defined by age and gender. For adult men and adult women in our Texas treatment facility we offer gender-separate primary care programs, and a program for families. For young men and women in the age group of 20 – 25 years, Caron Texas provides alcohol treatment and drug rehab programs as part of its primary care services.

In order to determine the best program for each patient, Caron Texas uses guidelines developed in conjunction with screening criteria developed by the American Society of Addictive Medicine (ASAM). Depending upon the state of the person when he or she is accepted for treatment, in addition to individual concerns such as chemical dependencies and possible co-occurring conditions, our addiction specialists try to determine the strength of the patient’s living and home environment as it relates to family and recovery support.

Residential or inpatient primary care in Texas consists of medical detoxification, individual counseling, group counseling sessions and family counseling services. Spiritual counseling is also a mainstay of substance abuse treatment care at Caron Texas. Patients also have access to an exercise facility and nutrition advice.

Caron Treatment Centers has 53-plus years of experience dealing with alcohol, drug and substance abuse in safe and comfortable private settings. Caron Texas applies that experience in a manner designed for the needs of the patients and the community where it is located.
