These training sessions are specifically tailored to professionals who are attending a Certified Addiction Specialist (CAS), Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) or Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT) course.
Furthermore, certified addiction professionals who need to renew their certification can attend numerous Caron Texas workshops and seminars held throughout the year to fulfill continuing education unit (CEU) requirements. In Texas specifically, the Texas Certification Board of Addiction Professionals requires renewal every two years for a majority of its addiction counselor certifications. TCBAP Certification renewals generally require a minimum of 40 hours of chemical dependency treatment continuing education.
Addiction treatment specialists located in the Dallas and Fort Worth areas can also take advantage of professional networking events held on the Caron Texas campus throuhgout the year.
