Referring Professionals

For more than 53 years, Caron Treatment Centers have been working with the patients of referring professionals to provide supplemental addiction recovery treatment programs.

As a drug abuse and alcohol treatment facility, Caron Texas is ideal for adult patients who have been diagnosed with an alcohol and/or drug dependency as a primary issue. When referring a patient to Caron Texas, professionals who believe their adult patients are in need of a structured alcohol treatment or drug rehab program should contact our Admissions staff for assistance in the admission process.

To ensure that Caron Texas can provide the appropriate level of rehab treatment, all potential patients are screened. It is especially important that the Caron Admissions Specialist be notified if the individual has co-occurring disorders, recent hospitalizations, medical conditions and/or suicide attempts. We also recommend that addiction recovery patients be ambulatory for treatment.

When referring a patient, professionals should keep in mind that Caron Texas is not an acute care facility. If an individual suffers from significant medical and psychological issues, we ask that the patient be stabilized before looking to admit an individual into a Caron Texas drug and alcohol treatment program.
