Personalized Services

The residential adult primary care programs at Caron Texas are gender-separate alcohol treatment and drug rehabilitation programs.

Each individual patient at Caron Texas has treatment plan which includes personalized addiction services such as residential assessment, medical detoxification (when necessary), individual counseling, group and family counseling, spiritual counseling and mental health services. Patients also have access to nutrition and dietary advice, as well as fitness and exercise facilities.

The personalized nature of the treatment programs at Caron Texas means that each individual will receive addiction care that will aid in the treatment of their primary chemical dependency and in some cases what appears to be a co-occurring mental health condition. As treatment continues for the chemical dependency, the perceived co-occurring condition may be eliminated. For example, a patient with an alcohol addiction and a co-occurring condition such as bipolar disorder, will first be treated for and learn about alcoholism and addiction and how to overcome the disease, and then learn more about the co-occurring condition that is present. In another manner, when medical detoxification and early treatment of a substance addiction proceed, underlying mental health issues may manifest, having been masked by the chemical effects of the substance being abused.

In addition to residential primary addiction care, Caron Texas also offers a residential assessment program. Residential assessment gives the opportunity to assess for an addiction in its early stages, and provide appropriate placement for more complicated individuals. When an intervention is needed, the admissions specialists at Caron Texas assist in locating intervention services while securing an admission date prior to the intervention.
