Caron Treatment Centers were founded more than 53 years ago in Wernersville, near Reading, PA - known at that time as Chit Chat Farms.
Since its founding, thousands of patients and their families have found hope, healing and recovery at Caron’s Pennsylvania alcohol treatment and drug rehab primary and extended care treatment facility.
At Caron PA, services include residential assessment programs, medical detoxification, primary rehabilitation, relapse treatment, extended care, and recovery care services. Caron PA provides gender-separate and gender-specific treatment programs for adults, young adults, teens and adolescents. Furthermore, Caron Pennsylvania staff has extensive experience in the treatment of co-occurring disorders to meet the complicated mental-health issues of patients in addition to their addiction and cross-addiction issues.
As part of the personalized treatment and addiction recovery programs provided to each patient, educational programs are offered for family members, including children, and others whose lives have been impacted by the disease of addiction. Caron also provides patients with extensive aftercare and outpatient counseling services as part of the drug and alcohol treatment and recovery program.
