Providing ongoing education, resources and tools for individuals and professionals is key to the prevention and continued treatment of drug and alcohol addiction. Caron Texas is committed to providing professionals with the necessary resources regarding drug and alcohol addiction and treatment.
Professional Training
The clinical staff at Caron Texas works with experts in the field of addiction treatment to provide CEU trainings to professionals at the Caron Texas facility and throughout the Dallas and Houston area. In 2012, programs for nurses, clergy, social workers and physicians will be offered.
Caron Texas is proud to be an approved provider of continuing education credits with the following accrediting bodies: Texas Certification Board for Addiction Professionals (TCBAP) and the American Psychological Association (APA).

Caron Cares: A Day of Discovery & Recovery
Caron Cares is an annual health conference and luncheon for parents, professionals and the public presented as a community service by Caron Treatment Centers. This informative and inspirational day provides an opportunity to examine the signs and symptoms of addiction, its impact on families and how individuals and families in recovery and professionals in the field can have hope for the future. Taking place during September’s National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, Caron Cares offers its guests and opportunity to tailor their day with selections of lectures presented along with keynote speakers at breakfast and lunch.
