Pre-Admission

In an effort to simplify the addiction treatment program admissions process at Caron Texas, all applicants are paired with a Caron Admissions Specialist. The Admissions Specialist first goes through the patient application and compiles all the necessary pre-admissions information from either the patient or family members. Once all the pre-admissions information has been collected, Caron staff review the application to ensure that Caron Texas is equipped to provide the best drug and alcohol rehab treatment for the applicant. If the Caron admissions staff feels that they cannot provide the highest level of care for the individual, they will provide alternative addiction treatment program referrals.

Once it has been confirmed that the individual is not suffering from significant medical and psychological issues and thus able to receive addiction treatment at Caron Texas, the Admissions Specialist will work with the patient, family and/or loved one to determine an ideal admission date and time of arrival. Admissions at Caron Texas can be scheduled 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Rehab admissions are normally scheduled by appointment; however emergency rehab admissions can be accommodated

Admissions Specialists also serve as a resource for family members or loved ones who need to perform an intervention. Interventions can be traumatic experiences for the substance abuser and for the family or friends so Caron recommends enlisting the help of a professional interventionist, therapist or counselor. Our team can provide contact information for interventionists and help secure an admission date prior to the intervention.
