Arriving at Caron Texas
Upon arriving to the Caron Texas campus, patients and their families are greeted by a Caron Admissions Associate who will review the Caron Texas addiction treatment program policies and procedures. A Caron Texas patient handbook will be provided, which includes helpful information about the Caron Texas facility and the individual drug or alcohol treatment programs.
The Caron Admissions Associate will then provide patients with consent and release forms which can be reviewed and signed on site and a photo ID will be taken. In addition, any outstanding treatment funds will be collected and necessary financial forms will be signed.
Families will then be given time to say good-bye to their loved one while the patient’s personal belongings are checked into a secure location.
Once the addiction treatment program check-in process is complete, the patient will be medically evaluated by one of our licensed medical professionals. This evaluation will help the Caron Texas clinical staff develop an individualized addiction recovery treatment plan. This evaluation will also assess if any medical detox measures are necessary to initiate the substance abuse treatment program. Patients that require a alcohol or drug detox program will be provided with a safe and comfortable environment to do so within Caron Texas' onsite medical detox.
If a patient does not need medical detox, they will be taken to their treatment unit where they will get settled in their room and join the Caron patient community. Patients will then meet with their primary rehabilitation counselor who will be responsible for facilitating their 4-6 week addiction recovery treatment plan.
